How do I create a new user in Jyske Online Banking Business?

As an administrator in Jyske Online Banking Business, you can create a new user who has a Danish CPR number. Click "Administration" in the menu and select "Create new user".

How to do this

  1. Log in to Jyske Online Banking Business (see guide).
  2. Click "Administration" in the menu.
  3. Select "Create new user".

CPR number

  1. Enter the user’s CPR number, first name and last name (for detailed instructions, see guide on how to create non-Danish users)
  2. Click "Continue". The user details are vetted against the MitID database, and name and CPR number are validated. You may see a note saying: "Name and CPR number do not match.” Try leaving out or adding one or more middle names. 

Contact details

  1. Add contact details. We recommend that you register the user’s mobile number and work email. The mobile number will be used by Jyske Bank, if e.g. the user authorises a payment which is subsequently selected for spot sampling.

User number

  1. The user will now be assigned a user number/initials, generated based on the user’s name. You can change the user number yourself to the initials that the employee is using at your company. The user number must consist of 3 characters.
  2. Click "Continue".

Check your details

  1. Please check the details inserted and click "Create". Once the user is been created, they can log in using their personal MitID.

Power of Attorney

  1. Finally, you have the option to link the user to an existing power of attorney or set up a new power of attorney for the user. See instructions: Create new power of attorney in Jyske Online Banking Business[PDF]
