How do I create a new user without a Danish CPR number?

As an administrator, you can create a new user without a Danish CPR number in Jyske Online Banking Business. Click "Administration" in the menu and select "Create new user".

How to do this

Log in to Jyske Online Banking Business (guide).
Click "Administration" in the menu.
Select “Create new user".
Click the link "Create foreign user" next to the CPR number field.

You will now see a message requesting that you create a distinct MitID for users without a Danish CPR number. Therefore, you will need to enter a number of details that we need in order to create a MitID for the new non-Danish user.

Click ’OK’ to confirm.

Enter information

Enter the user’s date of birth, gender, name and address.
Register the user’s contact details, including mobile number, work email and languages. Please note that foreign mobile numbers must be registered in the field "mobile number abroad". Please remember to select a country code.

User number

The user will now be assigned a user number/initials generated based on the user’s name. You can change the user number yourself to the initials that the employee is using at your company. The user number must consist of 3 characters.
Click "Continue".
Click “Create” to complete creating the user profile.

MitID information

In order to create a MitID for the new user, you must register the following:

Select "Danish" or "English" in the drop-down menu "Language for communication from MitID (Danish/English)
Click "Select citizenship" and select the user’s nationality/citizenship.
Select the right country code for the user’s mobile number, enter and repeat the user’s mobile number.
Enter the user’s email address and repeat the email address.

You now need to attach a copy of the user’s photo ID, which must be either passport, driving licence or national identity card.

Select which type of ID you want to attach.
Click “Choose file”. File Explorer now appears, allowing you to browse through your folders to locate the relevant personal identification document.
Select which authenticator the user wants to use (MitID app, MitID code display, MitID audio code reader or MitID chip). Using the MitID app is free of charge, while a code display currently costs DKK 41.75. Updated prices are available at Mitid.dk - prices applicable to business customers appear at the bottom of the page.

MitID authenticators

You must use an authenticator every time you log on or e.g. make a funds transfer. MitID is primarily an app made for smart phones. If you are not able to use the MitID app, you can choose a MitID code display or MitID chip instead. The MitID audio code reader is only available for visually impaired people. Please note that if you select any other option than the MitID app, you must choose whether the MitID authenticator shall be sent to the user’s private address or to an address of their own choosing (e.g. the company address).

Choose the preferred method for security notifications (SMS, Email, None). If you selected the app as your authenticator, you will need to select SMS here.
Please read the MitID terms and conditions.
Then tick the box “ I/the user accept terms and conditions for MitID ".
Click "Submit form", in order to submit the completed form.

Wait for new user ID and authenticator

For non-Danish users, the bank will create an entirely new MitID. The user will not be able to log on until they receives the new user ID. If you have choosen to use a code display, audio code reader or chip, this must have been received by the user, before they can log on to Jyske Online Banking Business.

Power of Attorney

Finally, you have the option to link the user to an existing power of attorney or create a new power of attorney for the user. For handling power of attorney, see the related guides:
