How do I make changes to an existing power of attorney?
You may need to modify a power of attorney, when an employee starts working at or leaves the company, when one or more new companies are integrated or when a user must be assigned to additional user rights pertaining to one or more companies.
About powers of attorney
A power of attorney (PoA) gives users certain inspection and payment rights for specific accounts. All users mentioned in a power of attorney have the rights defined by the PoA. Hence, it is essential that you set up a PoA for each specific “type” of employee, so that it is specifically defined what the user is authorised to do in Netbank.
NOTE! Each user can only be covered under one PoA.
How to do this
- Log in to Jyske Online Banking Business (guide).
- Select “Administration” in the menu.
- Then select “Powers of attorney”. Now you can see all existing powers of attorney.
- Click the Power of attorney that you would like to alter.
- Click "Edit power of attorney” in the top-right corner.
Users
- Click "Select agents", if you need to change which users should be covered under this PoA.
- Add or remove users by using the tick-off function on the left of a user’s name, and finish by clicking "OK".
Account rights
- Click "Select rights to accounts", if you need to alter a user’s account rights, for instance if the user must be granted access to an additional company. Any new companies will not be visible until you have clicked "Select rights to accounts".
- Make the required changes and finish by clicking “OK”.
Rights pertaining to custody accounts
- Click "Select rights to custody accounts", if you need to alter a user’s custody account rights.
- Make the required changes and finish by clicking “OK”.
Approve power of attorney
- Click “approve and activate”, if you are authorised to set up and alter PoAs on your own.
- If your administrator approval of a power of attorney is required along with a second person’s approval, click the link "Save and send for approval" on the right (displayed in the top as well as the bottom of the screen).
- Let the administrator whose second person verification is required know that an altered power of attorney is awaiting her/his approval.
Second person verification of power of attorney
- Find the box "Awaiting approval" at the top-centre of the entry page (clicking the Jyske Bank logo in the top left will take you to the entry page).
- Click "Power of Attorney" (the link is only available when one or more powers of attorney is awaiting approval). All powers of attorney awaiting final approval will now be displayed.
- Click one of the listed powers of attorney and make sure the appropriate rights have been assigned to each company.
- Click "Save and activate" on the right (available at both the top and bottom of the screen). The modification will take effect as soon as the power of attorney has been approved, and the result is visible for the users when they log in to Jyske Corporate Banking again.
