How to order account statements in XML format

You would like to receive account statements in XML format, either for delivery in Jyske Online Banking Business or to an alternative delivery address, such as an FTP connection. Below, you will see the steps that will take you there in Jyske Online Banking Business.

How to order a file

Before requesting the first file containing account entries, you must make a few fixed settings. If you have already made the settings for Balancing, move on to item 7.

  1. Log in to Jyske Online Banking Business (Instructions).
  2. Select “Import/Export file” and then select “Export” in the left-hand menu.
  3. Select “Order extracts” at the top right.
  4. Select the type of extract listed as “Balancing”.
  5. In "Frequency", specify how often you want to receive this file, for instance "Daily". If you opt for the frequency "Daily", you will receive a file once a day, which will be generated and delivered at a time of your choice.
  6. Select "No" to combine this extract with other extracts of the same type.
  7. If you have selected a regular frequency, you will need to fill in the field "Date of 1st extract". This can only be a date on or after the following banking day after you order the extract. If you have picked the frequency “Daily”, you will also have to select at which time of the date you want the file to be generated. The extract contains entries that are generated through to the time that you have selected. You can choose between any point of time at a 15-minute interval between 7 a.m. CET and 10 p.m. CET. You can create numerous extracts, if you want to receive an extract several times a day.
  8. Choose the XML format, in which you want to receive the file.
  9. In the field ”Structure of account number format in extracts”, only select “IBAN” if you know that this is required in order for your company’s financial system to be able to read the file. Otherwise, keep "BBAN" ticked off.
  10. In the field ”Delivery address”, you can choose whether you want to receive the file in Jyske Online Banking Business or via an alternative delivery address, such as an FTP connection or a Bank Connect address.
  11. In the right-hand side, select the account(s) for which you want the file to be generated.
  12. Tick off "Save settings”, if you want to use these options for future orders of extracts.
  13. Complete your order by clicking "Order".

How to export a file

  1. If you have ordered an on-demand file, you will now be able to see this in the files overview.
  2. If "Status" (right-hand column) read "In progress", click on "Files overview” to update the screen view. Status must read "Ready for export", before you can export the file.
  3. Retrieve your file by clicking ”Download” to the right of the file. Your browser settings control where the file is saved.
